PTA Message
WELCOME TO THE PTA! We cannot thank you enough for joining. We were thrilled to let the teachers know that the membership growth in Centennial PTA reflects our support of their work to educate our students this school year.
Every month we will discuss upcoming events/programs and our principal Mr. Bates will update us on how things are going thus far and how we can support the students and teachers as the year progresses. If you have a specific issue you would like to have discussed at this meeting, please email centennialspta@gmail.com and we can put your issue on the agenda. Typically, the PTA will meet on the first Thursday of each month at 10am.
Don’t forget to follow us! Our Facebook group is “Centennial Middle School PTA” and our Instagram feed is under “centennialpta.” As always, we welcome your suggestions and questions as we work to support our students in their learning. Please feel to reach out to the Centennial PTA at any time. Thank you for joining your voices together on behalf of our students– this is going to be an amazing year!!

PTA Meetings
We will be having our PTA meetings at 10:00 am on the first Thursday of the month, in the conference room next to the main office. Our proposed PTA meeting dates for the 2021-22 school year are: September 2nd, October 7th, November 4th, December 2nd, January 6th, February 3rd, March 3rd, and April 14th.
PTA Donations
Thank you to those of you that have joined the PTA by paying the $5 and for donating the suggested $15 to help with the programs. It’s not too late if you would like to join and or donate you can do so at the front office or at ALIO Fee Pay. Thank you!
7th and 8th Grade Parents
If you have a 7th or 8th grader in the CCA(Career and College Awareness) Business class, you may might to sign up to help with Reality Town. Reality town is a fun and exciting way for 8th graders to learn a little about finances and experience life as an adult – they’ll have a pretend family, career, budget, etc. During Reality Town, students will visit booths to pay all of the pretend expenses they would have in a month. We need parents to help man the booths. If you would like to help, look at your 7th or 8th graders schedule to see which semester they are taking CCA Business, then send an email to centennialspta@gmail.com, with your name, phone number, and which Reality Town you would like to help with (it’s so much fun that many moms help both semesters).
