Dr. Sean Edwards has been a dedicated educator in Provo City School District for 13 years. At Timpview High School, he served as an Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Special Education Teacher, gaining valuable experience in leadership and student support. For the past three years, Dr. Edwards has been the Principal of Canyon Crest Elementary School, where he has fostered a culture of academic excellence and student growth.
Dr. Edwards holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Special Education from Brigham Young University. He earned his Administrative Certification from Utah State University and later achieved a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Policy from the University of Utah.
As he steps into his new role as Principal of Centennial Middle School, Dr. Edwards shares his enthusiasm:

Because I have worked in such close proximity to CMS over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating with CMS educators, who are truly outstanding. I’m excited to support students during this crucial and formative stage of their education helping them to maximize their potential. I also want to express my gratitude to Principal Brookanne Dalby for the strong foundation she has built at CMS. Go Timber Wolves!”
