Centennial Middle School Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you and your family enjoying a restful and joyful summer break.

Today marks my official first day as the principal of Centennial Middle School (CMS), and I am honored to introduce myself to you. I am filled with excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to serve this incredible community and, most importantly, the remarkable students who walk our halls.

Middle school is a transformative time in a young person’s life. It is a season of exploration, discovery, and growth—a time when students begin forming lifelong friendships, develop deeper interests, and explore potential college and career pathways. At CMS, students come together from across our beautiful city, bringing different backgrounds and perspectives that enrich our learning environment. As principal, I am committed to ensuring that every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to take full advantage of all the opportunities these two years can offer.

Adding to the excitement, middle school can also be a time of change and complexity. From managing multiple classes and teachers to navigating social dynamics and personal development, students are growing and learning in many ways. I want to walk alongside them—and you—to help make this journey meaningful, positive, and empowering.

These values guide our decision-making, shape our daily interactions, and inspire us to make every day at CMS a worthwhile and impactful one. As educators, families, and students, I hope we can embrace a CMS PACK mentality—working together with intention and purpose to make middle school a magnificent experience for all students.

To say I am excited to support your child would be an understatement. I am truly thrilled to be their principal and their biggest advocate. My goal is to ensure they leave CMS equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to thrive not just in school, but in life. My door will always be open to them—and to you—as we navigate these important years together.
