Pornography is affecting kids (and adults) from every demographic. This is an educational and public health concern as more people become chemically addicted to the flood of chemicals produced in their brains and neglect relationships and responsibilities.
So many smart, capable, good people, parents, and children genuinely have no idea just how powerful it is, where it takes them, and especially how quickly it can take over. It can take as little as 10 minutes online to start an addiction cycle. The average age of being exposed to it is 8 – 11 years old.
It is encouraging to see people bringing awareness, and teaching us how to fight back. We are bringing “Fight the New Drug” to CMS in January for an assembly to teach kids about the dangers and to how to deal with it. Fight the New Drug has presented to over 400 Jr. High and High Schools all across the Nation, Canada, and all across Utah. Their amazing, engaging presentation is based on science and facts.
Fight The New Drug is making the following area presentations:
- -9/24 Kearns Jr. High and Jefferson Jr. High
- -9/25 Kearns High School
- -10/22 Maple Mountain High (Spanish Fork)
- -11/13 Orem High
